PROSPECTS OF SPEECH ENERGETICS PROBLEMS RESEARCH

While addressing the issue of prospects for studying speech energetics problems one should primarily note that, in accordance with two forms of verbal-and-cognitive activities’ materialization, we intend to differentiate the problem as the one consisting of two research areas, namely: the study of oral speech energetics and the study of written speech energetics.

It seems essential to add that at the first stage of lingua-energetic studies, which are planned to be conducted within the two areas specified above, it is important not so much to explore the nature of the energetic processes underlying communication, the essence of which has not been investigated sufficiently, as to first of all substantiate the dynamics of variations of quantitative energetic characteristics. It is also important to state that the selection of targets of further linguistic research in the area of speech energetics is intended primarily at the comprehension of processes associated with the individual’s speaking-and-thinking and thinking-and-speaking activities in definite communicative situations.

In the course of planning further research experiments the researchers are expected to chiefly focus on the point that the performance of any object of studies on speech energetics is a multivariable phenomenon and thus it necessitates its multiple-factor consideration, whose interdisciplinary theoretical tools require the application of general scientific approaches, namely systemic and synergetic ones.

We also believe that linguists would face certain hardships which could most likely occur while forming a clear-cut target structure of every interdisciplinary research. In addition the difficulties could arise in the course of developing a methodological guidance for refining a specific methodology and its elaboration or adoption of the advanced tools from linguistically-related areas aimed at studying the peculiarities of functioning and interacting of physical, psycho-physiological and psychic energies, which maintain communicants’ speaking-and-thinking and thinking-and-speaking activities.

Therefore, lately we have primarily been focusing on developing the mentioned above methodological issues, whose results are presented in the publications comprising the following: 1) the structural-and-cognitive model of a generating and decoding mechanism of the manipulative influence upon the utterance meaning in communication; 2) the generalized structural-and-logic scheme of the hierarchic structure of means, realizing the strategy of communicative and subliminal influence; 3) the analysis of methodological research possibilities of segmental units’ influence upon the utterance subliminal force; 4) the synergetic concept of a bilingual’s interfered speech generation; 5) the substantiation of methodological preconditions for a comprehensive research of subliminal influence of speech-and-music pieces upon a listener.
