The article offers theoretical and methodological grounds for a non-traditional tool for determining frequency characteristics and quantitative measures of the statistical reliability of interdisciplinary humanities research. Sociocultural and socioeconomic changes are interpreted as outcomes of deep cognitive and synergetic processes unfolding through human development in individual mental activity and in the mentality of communities. The logic of synergostatistical calculations is explained and examples are provided. The approach is considered applicable to linguistics, literary studies, psychology, education, cultural studies, history, political science, geopolitics and economics.
Keywords: humanities, interdisciplinary research, synergostatistics.
